Last night my husband and I went to buy candy for trick or treaters. I told him when we had a LO I was going to take candy out of their bag when they went to sleep. He said I was mean! I figured that was something all parents did.

Totally! we are going let DD look at it and smell it and maybe eat one. Then we are going to take it away! So we can pick out the ones we want (muhaha), take out any peanut candies (allergy) and then it will go in a jar for special treats or bribing :-). DS is too little to eat candy still.

Hahah lo's only 19 months old so no candy for her. I'll probably eat everything she gets

No LO yet but I'll be raiding our own stash. We bought candy for trick-or-treating, but now it's postponed until Saturday and we'll be out of town. Oh well...more for me and my sweets-craving pregnant butt!

Of course! She's only 16 months, she won't know what hit her. We've never even given her candy!

We're planning on regifting her candy and passing it back out to kids that come to our house. She's too little to eat it. I cant have chocolate but I'm sure dh will eat some.
My mom always ate some of my candy. I agree I think it should be allowed.
