I tell DH EVERYTHING! So it's really hard and takes serious self control to surprise him.

I'm not sure I know how to keep secrets from him. I mean, if the secret is for him or about him (ie. a present, or surprise party). But if my friend told me something in confidence and asked me specifically not to tell hubs, then I wouldn't tell him.

i can keep a secret if it is birthday/present related. otherwise i tell him everything!

Even when I try he usually guesses.

@MsLipGloss: yeah, i don't think it is really right to tell people that they can't tell their spouse something when they have a policy of not lying to each other. it sometimes puts people in an awkward spot.

If its a surprise or present then yes, I can keep a secret. If someone tells me something, if its juicy I usually have to spill to DH.

@Andrea: I totes agree. When in doubt, I tell the hubs. I come clean to my friend, too, just so everybody is on the same page. Although, yanno, I can't remember the last time something like that has happened . . . maybe 3-4 years ago.

I'm really bad at keeping secrets from everyone, especially my husband. He can always tell when I have a secret!

He's my go-to, I tell him everything. If I know something I'm not supposed to tell him, I have to tell someone else or I feel like I'll explode!
