We always do the same thing for New Years. Go to either my parents or their neighbor's house (party rotates every year) for a very family friendly party. There's lots of good food and games.
This year will be at my parents and they have a pack n play so as long as it's not too noisy it'll be easy to put my LO to bed there and we'll be able to stay a while.

We always have a family friendly new years party. Though this year we probably won't even really do anything since the husband needs all the sleep he can get on the weekend.

We always get together with family and play games. This year we are going to go out to a nice restaurant, just the two of us, though. Although, we will probably go to DH's parents' house after for games again

I think we are going to visit my husband's sisters family for New Years, so it will be family friendly. They have an 8 year old. Being pregnant makes it family friendly, too - no drinking!!

It varies from year to year whether we go to a party or stay in. I'm guessing that we stay in this year regardless since I will be popping at any minute.

We usually have a quiet night of watching movies at home, this year will probably be no different. We're such homebodies!

I imagine it will just be Hubs and I ringing in the New Year, maybe going to a church friend's house, probably no kiddos though.

Wow, I thought more people would go out as couples. I guess my hubby led me to believe that I was weird for wanting to continue with my family tradition of the neighborhood parties. When we started dating, he told me normal people go out together as couples! But now that we have a family I think he's happy to have a low key, family friendly new years.

We usually go to someone's house party. My close friend's birthday is New Year's Eve so she usually throws a nice bash. Since I'm pregnant and this is our last "just the two of us" New Year's--we are going to make a romantic dinner together and watch movies, our first New Year's alone together.

@looch: Lol, I didn't even think of that! Our bed time is 9:00... 10 at the latest. I guess we always have the excuse of "The baby needs to get to home to bed."

We've done something different every year... this is the one holiday where we haven't established a tradition. Last year we had my best gf and her bf over to play games, drink champagne, sit in the hot tub, and watch the ball drop on TV.
Years before we've done hotel parties, played games with the ILs and ate fish (polish tradition), this year we got another hotel party invite but we're on the fence about going.
We'll probably figure it out in the next week.

We made sure our son was able to sleep in alot of noise. For the holidays he might go to bed a little later then usual, but he asks to go to bed.
This year new years is at my aunts house, and she has a park n play. I'm sure it will be fine (i hope)

We always host the parties for our friends - and despite being 9 months pregnant we plan to host a new years party this year. The difference from years past being that we will invite a smaller group, probably couples only, and ask that no one spend the night. We can see the Time Square ball from our balcony, so we would be fools to not take advantage of the great view and share that with our friends!

We're probably going to stay home for New Year's. 
For the first 28 years of my life I rang in the new year at church with my family.
Last year hubs and I were busy on our computers and missed the countdown! I remember I was looking at strollers. -.-

This will be our first New Years with a baby (last year I found out I was pregnant on 12/31). I think we will probably just stay home, put the baby to bed at her normal time, and stay up downstairs watching movies and drinking champagne.

@blushink: I tried to get my LO used to sleeping with a lot of noise... but no such luck. She's just naturally a light sleeper. At least we can use it as an excuse if we want to leave the party early though

Usually we go out, but this year with a new baby we're going to a toned down party at my parents house. We'll focus on yummy finger foods (Bang Bang Shrimp and Stuffed Mushrooms!) and wine of course!

I'm not sure what we'll do this year. My husband proposed on NYE and our anniversary is Jan. 2nd so it's a special time of year for us. This will be the first year that we're not in the States though, so we'll see. I'm guessing a low-key night in since I'll be very pregnant by then.
