I don't know if you guys notice, but misbehavior comes in WAVES in about 3-6 months interval. There is a stretch of very good behavior every single day back to back. For months. Just when you think this is a piece of cake, then baam, it is the tantrum and crying and bad choices and bad behavior every day. I read that the bad behavior period is usually when they are having a big leap in growth and development, and it's been true for us.
With that said, we are in the ditch right now. Grrr. I can't wait to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Other than that it is the speed of him eating. It can take 2 hours. And night potty training. He's 5 in a few weeks and still wets his overnight pull up. Ahhh. I don't even know where to buy pull ups when he grows bigger.

@irene: totally noticed that! I've got to be better about remembering this when the tantrums come back out of left field. We had a week of awful behavior recently, and then DS totally shocked me by starting to put away his clothes without being asked, and just generally becoming more independent.
