I LOVE makeup and buy an embarrassing amount of it (drugstore, expensive, anything!) but the sad truth is that I don't know how to apply any of it! I wish I were good at it. I keep tricking myself into believing that the more I have, the more practice I'll get in applying it. Yeah, right.

Yes! I love makeup and I think i'm fairly good at it. I majored in theatre with an emphasis in costuming and stage makeup, so I've had some training.

I love makeup too! I'm not very good at applying it though, especially eye shadow. My eye shape makes it a little hard to apply eye makeup. I have a very shallow eyelid crease (if that makes sense). I wanna learn though!

I'm pretty good at it for myself, but it looks a million times better when I get it done. I'm great at putting on individual lashes though!

@banana: I have a distinct eyelid on my right eye but my left eye has like, 3 creases in it. It's ridunk trying to figure out eyeliner. Ugh!

@Rubies: I know how you feel!! My right eye has a distinct crease but my left eye is shallower. So I always have to apply eye liner differently on both eyes to even them out. Most people can't tell they're different (because of the eyeliner). But when I remove my eye makeup, I can totally tell. So annoying!

I love make-up!! And I buy tons of it. But lately my skin color has changed and I need need a new color of face make-up. I think I'm pretty decent at applying it though.

I like it and can apply it fairly well, but I'm not into the really expensive stuff and Sephora can be overwhelming to me with all the pretties and so many choices! I'd rather spend my money on clothes

I'm not into makeup and rarely ever wear it (maybe 4x a year). I have picked up tips watching youtube videos.

I love makeup and I think I am pretty good at applying it. I am really good at doing a smokey eye and applying false eyelashes. I also do a great red lip + liner.

i have certain items i wear all the time, but i am no expert and don't LOVE makeup, i just wear it because i feel i look better with it and would not be comfortable going out without some. i do wish i had better makeup skills for the occasions i want to glam up.

Nope I'm terrible at applying and I think most makeup counters don't know how to do it on me either! It's my darn monolid they can't figure out! I have only been happy 2x... My wedding makeup trial and wedding day!

I love makeup! Drug store, high end, all of it! I love reading reviews and trying the latest and greatest but still have some holy grail products. I think I am pretty good at contouring and putting mascara on myself. I love to do other people's makeup when I have the chance too

Ever since then I've been thinking about how much more differently I apply my make-up! Maybe I've been doing it wrong all my life!
I've always put on concealer first, then foundation, then blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara last but Kate (from the link) does it all so different!

Yes love makeup, buy way too much, and I think I'm ok at it! In college I used to do all my friends' makeup before we went out haha I love watching tutorials and trying different methods and reading reviews - it's my guilty pleasure.

I love makeup, and I think I'm good at applying it myself. I did my own makeup for my wedding. I am actually really happy with how I look when I wear makeup, but because I am super lazy, and not a high maintenance person in general, I hardly ever wear it day-to-day.

When I was younger I wanted to be a make up artist. I used to be really in to make up (buying all the latest collections and such). Now I am not so much in to it, but I am pretty good at applying it. I did my own make up for my wedding day and I always get "omigosh how much did you pay for your make up artist, you look fantastic!" when people see my pics.
I don't wear much make up day to day and on weekends I usually omit it completely.
