What's considered low vs high maintenance? If I dress nicely and wear makeup, am I high maintenance?

I guess I'm high maintenance, then! I prefer the term "take care of myself", though I work hard for my money, I'm gonna enjoy some of it

Very low. I put everyone else's needs above mine, and I usually forget to take care of myself.

I'd call myself mid to low maintenance.

I said medium because I wear makeup but the bare minimum and I'm also ok with running errands bare faced. There are certain designer things that I like (jeans, hair and skincare products) but I don't live and die by them.
I do have to get a mani pedi every week and a massage at least once a month But that's just because it's my "me" time, not because I wouldn't be caught dead with bare nails or toes.

I would say low. I don't need much to get by, as long as I have the basics of life I am okay. I get my hair cut every few months and when I do I usually have a coupon that makes it super cheap, I don't get my nails done or anything and I get some new clothes once a year if that and then I am super cheap about it. I guess that's probably why I do so well being a sahm

I'd say lower end of medium. I don't buy any expensive clothes/shoes generally and I don't get a lot of beauty treatments. I also rarely dry my hair or wear makeup, and mostly wear yoga pants. But I do keep my hair cut/colored (at a nice salon), my nails nice, and wear makeup on weekends. And I guess I wear "nicer" yoga pants/tops at home lol. So looks-wise low/medium.

But I think emotionally I'm medium. I do give a lot and expect a lot of my husband I think. I think it is balanced, but I think of people who are emotionally low maintenance as sort of being doormats.

I'm medium. I don't buy designer clothes or get manicures, but I rarely leave the house without makeup and taking a shower.

I'd say mid?
I'm not the one who will not leave the house unless my toes are pedicured , but I do love a mani/pedi and I do take care of myself.
As a spouse, I need to have my needs met but I'm not a list puppy without them.
So basically, I lean towards high maybe but I can do without so I'd call myself mid.

Medium. I like to look cute before I leave the house. I get my hair cut at a nice salon. But I rarely have my nails done because they chip while I'm cleaning or at the gym. I don't have many designer things.

Medium. I don't leave the house without make-up, I do some type of treatment every 3-4 months...but I don't spend money on myself like I use to.

I use to get various treatments done per month. Thinking about it is exhausting now haha.

Mid to low. I very rarely wear makeup. Last time I put on makeup was for my work's Christmas party. I get haircuts once a year. Speaking of which, I'm long overdue for my eye brows. Oops. Last time I got mani and pedi was last summer and that was because my sister and niece were there. They were killing time and avoiding my parents! Haha. I had to join them. Before that, was senior prom. As for tanning, I haven't paid for tanning since senior prom. I do like to get some sun by laying out. Oh, because of my job, I can wear jeans everyday. I do have professional clothes that I wear when I present or go on work trips.

I do always put others before myself. I am a people pleaser. I always feel guilty when I buy things for myself. But we are now more financially stable so I have been able to buy nice things now. Which puts me into the medium range. Because of IF, I've been buying things to distract myself. Craft stuff, shoes I don't need. Uhh, I have a full stash of cloth diapers.

I am the breadwinner in our family so I was always work. I can work long hours because of my job. I used to consider myself a workaholic, though not as much anymore. I will never be able to SAH, but DH will be a SAHD. So when I get home, all I want to do is rest and go to bed. So I do somewhat control the money that we spend.

Emotionally, med-low. I'm fairly laid back but there are times where I can be needy.

My DH would consider me low maintenance. He wishes I wore makeup more often. I'm sure when I get moody and when he sees some of the stuff I buy, he thinks I'm going into the medium maintenance.

I picked medium. Normally I'm super low maintenance but I have to eat gluten free and that often makes me high maintenance so I figure it evens out.

I'd be low if it weren't for the fact that I'm very sensitive. If DH growls at me even a little I can become hard work.
