We're probably going to make a gingerbread house together next week! I'm super excited... I think the kids will love it. Charlie and I decorated a gingerbread ship at a recent event, and he absolutely loved it!

Yes! I just need to find a vegan icing recipe that will be a good enough binder. I'm excited to put it together with LO.

with my big kid, aka mr. bird. we did them last wk end during the snow storm. we used a kit because he'd never done one before so i bought a kit of mini ones, it was a good choice because he ended up eating one of them before it was even assembled and his other two (there were 5 in the kit)... well.... he tried

I'm trying to wait one more year! I know the kids will love it but lmw is still too young for candy. And I firmly believe that you build them to eat them..!

Yep! My kids (the 7 & 5 yr old) made a whole little village yesterday. This was the first year that they didn't need help with any of the decorating, I just put the houses together. It's fun seeing what they comes up with 
We also made ninjabread men.

We did some a few weeks ago at a local grocery market. The kids had fun and ingested ungodly amounts of candy!

I keep forgetting to pick one up!! Maybe next year when DS is old enough to decorate and eat it!
