I couldn't pee in front of someone if I had to. DH has a hard time with it too. However, a lot of our friends/family members could bee with the door wide open.

I don't know that I'm shy about it, I just don't do it. I can go in a public restroom, even if I know people can hear me, but I don't talk to other people while I tend to business.

I peed in front of SO for the first time after Benjis delivery. Because of my c section I needed help to get to the toilet. Oh the boundaries that were crossed that week!

I dunno?? I've never HAD to pee in front of someone. I pee in front of LO all the time. Does that count?

@MaisyMay: See I have a really hard time in public restrooms if it's really quiet, I don't know why because it's just pee!
@travelingbrit: Oh yes I forgot I have peed in front of DH, under the same circumstances.

Totally pee shy. I nearly died when the nurse wanted to stay in with me for my first pee after my c section. I made her wait outside and still couldn't go just knowing she was hovering!

@travelgirl1: wow yeah that would have made me nervous too!

Oh God yes! I turn on the sink everytime I go pee, no matter if it's just DH or we have a house full. I get stage fright at the thought of someone listening

I am... before my check ups during pregnancy I never could go! I always had to pee after my appointment! Just the thought someone was waiting for me made it impossible to go!

i can pee any time, anywhere. not shy at all. that's what happens when you live in a sorority and then after college you share one bathroom with 3 other people. we had the policy that you could only shut the bathroom door if you were pooping (or there were other non-roommates there). otherwise, everyone had access!

Not particularly. I get a lil shy at first, but once I start pee-ing it's like eh, whatever. haha!

Totally pee shy. I can't pee in a public bathroom unless it's empty. DH keep the doors closed when we do our business.

@MrsTiz: hehe, what if you are home alone?? Do you still turn on the sink?

I'm usually not but the first time I had to pee on my own after DS's delivery I couldn't go! The nurse left the bathroom and I still couldn't go. She had to leave the room completely before I finally went. It didn't help that I had a catheter for close to 36 hours because I was so swollen down there. It was almost like I forgot how to pee...

@sweetchic: I've caught myself doing it before out of habit, but I don't normally! I

If its really quiet with other people in the bathroom or something I do get stage fright. When I was younger I would turn on the faucet to let the water run. ahah!!

Having a child made me throw modesty out of the window. I'm not sure why. It flipped a switch! As of Dec 4th, I am not pee shy

The girls at my school turn on the hand dryers so no one can hear them! Teenagers. Lol.
