Yes! My BIL and SIL want our family to go with them on one of their trips this summer . . . I don't know how well LO would do outside all day like that (in the Florida heat!). I am kiiiiind of toying with the idea, but man, just thinking about it makes me tired!

Definitely! But we will probably wait until LO is older. Like this thanksgiving, when LO will be almost a year and a half.

Yes, it is something I have always wanted to do for my LO even before I had a LO!!

Yes - and I cant wait!
DH and I both love disney and went often as kids (every other year or so). We've discussed waiting until LO is 3 or 4 (I push more for 3) so we still have some time. We're hoping to get either a group of our family or our friends to go together for a big group trip.
I'm secretly hoping I have a conference in Orlando before then so I can squeeze in another trip!

DH is very excited to bring our kids to Disney World, but it won't be for another couple of years when DS is older. My in-law's have a time share down there, and we will most likely go down with them so we have a helping hand. I am dreading the 14 hour drive down though.

@MsLipGloss: omg. WDW in the summer = misery. We moved here last year memorial day and went in July/August and even staying hydrated I almost passed out. It was really tough. Some parks are worse than others (amount of shade, size of park, water rides, etc)

@sorrycharlie: disneyland is 2 and under. You have to pay at three, so maybe WDW gives an extra year?

Love love love Disney! You guys will have so much fun! We just got annual passes for Dland and I think they are the best things we bought for our family in the longest time. They are so happy at Disney. It's a lot of work as a parent, but soo much fun too.

We only live about 1.5 hrs away, so we've already taken my LO to Magic Kingdom (for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party) and Animal Kingdom. We're already working on his pin collection. I'm sure as he gets older, we'll probably hit up MK a couple of times a year and the other parks every once and a while. Gotta leave room for Islands of Adventure and Legoland!

I love Disney World! I actually really wish we could go just the two of us before the baby gets here, but obviously you can't ride most of the good rides while pregnant.
I've thought about doing a big family vacation with my parents and staying at one of the nice resorts. I think with help from my parents it would be a lot more fun. Still, it probably makes sense to wait until they are older and can really enjoy it / remember it.

Disney this fall with our 2 yr old. We are making it to San Diego for friends and more adventure too! Woohoo!!

We probably won't go until the baby is older so that she can get some enjoyment out of it, too!

We really wanted to take DS before LO is born, but I'm not sure we will be able to now with the timing (we would have to go in the summer) and some things going on starting in August. We would most likely need to go mid-July and I'm sure DH would (not) be thrilled over that FL heat!

Absolutely! But when she's a little older, and we'll wait for baby #2 to be here to join us, too.

We'll probably wait until he's 3 or 4, there is a conference in Orlando every January that we can go to, so we'll probably take advantage of it then.
We did SeaWorld (San Diego) at 10 months and it was miserable. It was in August, and usually we try to do theme parks in the off season... never again in the heat of summer and crazy crowds!

We plan to take LO to Disney just before his 3rd birthday...summer of 2015!

We're not going to take our LOs until they are old enough to ask. My parents never took us, but my uncle moved to LA when I was 12 and he took us to DL. IDK, Disney seems like a lot of work for the parents...not really a relaxing vacation.

We plan to take our kids when they're old enough to enjoy and remember the trip. So.. Maybe when our youngest is 4 or 5?

I wasn't planning on taking T until he's 4 or 5. But my parents and sister and her kids are going next winter (her oldest will be 5, her second 3) and so T and I are joining them.

@mrsmate: Probably this. I think with the sheer expense of going, ticketing and staying, I'd rather they remember it! If we do go, I'm definitely taking my sister's family as well.
We never went on family vacations, so I took my sister to DisneyLand/California Adventure when we were both in our late twenties. We bought ears immediately, wore them all day and had a blast. Crazy that it was still more expensive than a 5-day car rental!
