Yes, I stuck this in holidays. DH would call the Cowboy's first regular season game a holiday for sure!

I love football (more than my hubby, actually), and I'm psyched that it's football season! That said, I'm a Redskins fan myself, so if there were a way for the Cowboys and the Giants both to lose tonight, I"d be all for it. Sadly, I'll be at a meeting so I can't watch anyway.

Hahaha, I definitely love my husband more than football! Oops. I do have a slight preference for Cowboys losses over Giants losses.
Now that I'm (finally) home, I'm watching the DNC over football though. -
Yeaaaaah! It is always hard to get into football when it's still a thousand degrees a outside but I'm so glad it's time! My fantasy team was auto-drafted but I didn't do too horribly. Know what would make 2012/2013 awesome? Baltimore getting to the world series AND super bowl.

@mediagirl: We had a Dallas baseball team and basketball team go on to the finals in their respective sports a couple of years ago! And the super bowl was held in Dallas that same year, but obviously the Cowboys were not a part of the game in any other aspects

I don't care about football (or any sport), but I married into a family who looooves the Cowboys! So I watched the first half of the game, ate pizza and then went to sleep. I am pleased that we won, though! I claim all hometown teams, even though I'm not a sports fan.

@highwire: Hubs was so excited because he managed to find a place online that showed the game for free. We don't have cable or satelite, so he doesn't get to watch a lot of sports unless we are at his parents'. To be able to see the game, and for them to win made his night.

@MaisyMay: Aw awesome! Yeah we don't have cable/satellite either, but we use the old fashioned bunny ears to stream the local digital channels.
Glad his night was made! Whenever they lose I know my whole entire night is basically ruined because DH is cranky for the rest of the evening. Just about the only time he gets in a bad mood!

I'm SO excited it's football season! I'm a Steelers fan, but Hubs is a Cowboys fan, so he was pretty happy with the game last night. And I'm happy when he's happy; also, I can't stand the Manning brothers, so - win win!
