My husband woke up super early to put in hours at the new house so that he can be back in time for Pre-game. Haha
We always make food of the competing team so today we're making meatball subs!M's totally got her gear ready.

oh man...my husband is so mad! my grandparents 50th anniversary was yesterday and we're required at a lunch for them at 1:30. right after kick off!!
yeesh...I better come up with something good to make it up to him, aside from the DVR.
@winniebee: I have been told Wal-Mart and Target have baby pats gear! I wanted to get LO something for later in the season but there's no newborn size anywhere. I'm thinking of getting a small toddler jersey and pairing it with leggings. LOL.

@regberadaisy: @sorrycharlie: will have to check out target. I just double checked and his Pats onesie is 12M - he's only 12 lbs so I don't think that will be fitting him anytime soon, LOL.

Penny doesn't have any gear yet, DH and my Dad refuse to let her get anything pink:) DH is working, but I will be watching. Football season is my fave. I have been pinning recipes for like 6 months to prepare (although I am not cooking much today).

Go seahawks!!! I know we play in the saddest division but I'm pumped about our new quarterback
@sslm: I love Aaron Rodgers - after the Seahawks the Packers are my favorite team.
I am also excited to see how Peyton Manning does!

My husband woke up early this AM to run out to Target for a 3-6 month Patriot's jersey
Now I get the afternoon to myself since I'm not a football fan and he wanted to take LO out to his friend's house to watch his first football game!

My husband is a huge Saints but the game won't be airing here. He'll probably watch some of the Texans game. I get my fill of football on Saturdays. I prefer college football and the SEC!

Go Packers!!!
I set my alarm for 6:00 a.m. today to watch the game. I'm beholden to the big wigs at Channel One here who decide which game they will televise in Australia each week - fortunately, they decided on the Packers this week! Last year they showed four Packers games throughout the season and I was ecstatic!!!

My husband and I just had a serious fight regarding whether he will "allow" me to dress "his son" in Steelers gear. (he's an Eagles fan.) He said he would throw away any steelers attire and that our baby has to like the Eagles because they are both men. Seriously. So infuriated.

Yes! DH camps out in front of the tv on Sundays for NFL and Saturday's for college football! I used to despise football but it's growing on me.

I am! Go Eagles!! I, also, have a fantasy football team so I'm rooting for Drew Brees. He didn't really have a good start today. Oh, well! Looks like I will win my fantasy matchup!
