DS has officially outgrown all his newborn clothing and swaddle sacks. DH and I both cried so hard while packing it up. I'm crying again typing this!
Do you get a little sad or sentimental when you pack away outgrown clothing and gear?

Yes! It's SO hard everytime I have to get the vacuum bags out and pack their clothes away. It doesn't get easier with a second child - I keep thinking it might be the last time that I pack away such small clothes

It was so depressing to pack up her newborn-3 month clothes. I even get a little sad when I order up a size for stuff to grow into. It really does go by so fast.

Yes! But he's also getting more interactive as he grows, so I try to think positive (doesn't always work though)

Absolutely! I get especially sad for my favorite outfits that get packed away. I'm excited about going through all of DS1's old clothes for DS2 but I know I'm going to cry thinking about how little DS1 was!

Yes He is slowly outgrowing newborn (totally out of Carter's NB). The two silver linings for me are that he has sooo many cute 0-3 outfits, and since he's outgrowing things that means I'm not screwing up his feedings! Haha.

Yes! The bigger the clothes get, the better it gets, but its still sad. We're about to have to pack away 18 m and it makes me sad thi king about it.

Yes! It doesn't get easier, either, I'm sorry to say! I have his fisher price barn packed up that he got for his first birthday, along with board books and other toys that he has outgrown. It's so hard to do.

Yes! I have been a sobbing mess as of late and in awe of how all of a sudden my little baby is a toddler! This is our only one too, so it's very, very bittersweet.

Yes! I remember thinking how big her 12 month clothing was, and how gigantic the 18 month clothes were, and now I'm packing some of it away and thinking "this stuff is so LITTLE."
I found her newborn stuff and thought, "Was she ever this small?!" and started crying.

So sad I went and bought some of the sleepers in bigger sizes to get me through it!

I'm trying to remember if I was the first time around, which leads me to believe that I wasn't. Then when I was packing up the newborn, 0-3 month stuff this time around I was a little sad. I really liked a few of those pieces but they were only in those sizes! Or they were last season because they were bought for DS and DD wasn't even a whisper on the wind.
But this time, putting away the clothes, I smiled. Maybe it's silly but I thought, I'll see you again. We'll have a third one someday and I'll see you again. I will probably be a wreck when I have to actually give some of the pieces away/sell them after the third baby though! I might just have to figure out a way to keep the baby clothes in some practical sense... hmmm....

Definitely! We just packed up all the 0-3month stuff. It was so sad. I think I might put one particularly cute outfit in a shadowbox in his room.

Yes, I agree it is bittersweet. It is exciting to see how LO grows, but there is no going back to that little tiny baby! Hopefully, another little one will come along to wear the clothes again!

Yes! We are going through a purging stage to get ready for a yard sale. All her outgrown stuff are on a rack in the basement (for #2) and it's so bittersweet! Her spare closet is also full to the brim with outgrown clothes.

Oh yes. We were just talking about this. We are in the process of putting away his 3-6 month clothes and moving into the 9 month stuff. I always like that he has new clothes but feel so sad that he doesn't fit into those cute clothes from the last size. And sad he only wore them a few times too!
