I'm fairly generous (in that I will say a compliment if I'm thinking it)... but I will never offer a compliment that I don't feel is true.
There's an art form to complimenting someone in a truthful way... it's a lot harder than just telling them that they look wonderful, or that their baby is gorgeous. I'm not a fan of fake praise.

Generous! I know how much it brightens up my day to be complemented so I try to do the same for others.

I'm pretty stingy, I don't compliment someone unless I genuinely mean what I say. I do feel obligated to compliment if someone is basically asking for it....and the old drunk me used to give out compliments like candy.

Generous. My husband is constantly mortified because I have no problem telling a stranger if I love their purse, hair, nails, etc. Only if it's genuine though.

I'm generous with DH and family when it comes to compliments. But maybe not quite so generous with them if I don't know the people well.

I didn't used to be, but I think that was/is because I'm shy. I don't know if I'm generous with compliments, but I say them when I think of them instead of just internalizing the observation.
For example, if I saw someone with cute earrings I would just think that to myself and move along, but now I try to go out of the way to tell that person.
I feel like I compliment strangers more than family and friends.

I would say I'm generous with people I know. I'm not really one to compliment a stranger unless I really feel the need to. Also, only give genuine compliments, I hate fake compliments!
