I definitely am!
It feels at times like a love affair... in that just when you think you can't love someone any more, you discover a whole new level of love. And then you look back on your old level of love, and you think about how small it was relative to this deep level of love that you've discovered.
Are you surprised at all by how much you love your LO?

Yes! I always wanted to have babies and knew I would just love them but I never ever could have imagined just how deep and strong the love is between a parent and a child. It really is such an amazing thing how much we love LO.

I'm not very surprised at how much I love Wagon Jr., but the amount lately has been very satisfying. I feel like my love for him grows every single day, exponentially, so I'm wondering just exactly when my heart will explode

You couldn't have said it any better Mr. Bee! There's always something that happens that makes me love him more and more. Like now, he's getting so good at giving hugs and kisses, it just makes my heart swell with sooooo much love!

No, I thought it would be like this. What surprised me was how long it took to bond with him like this. I loved him from the start, but it took him to start smiling and reacting to me to really deepen that love (about 2 months).
They certainly are like video games, the more you play with them the more levels you open up- both in their skills and in your level of love. I've really had a blast the past couple months.

Yes! I always knew (I guess theoretically) that moms and dads would love their children unconditionally. But i never really knew what that would be like, until I had my own. It's one of the biggest eye-opening things about having a child. Sometimes I marvel at how much love we have for our son in the short 2 years he's been part of our family. Sometimes I feel bad because I wonder how I could love another child as much as I love him! But I'm sure I will. It's just hard to imagine having even MORE love available for another child!
