My husband said no because they're creepy and no kid like them! But I say you have to, it's like a rite of passage.
I'm going to win.

We'll try. She refused to sit on his lap last year. We got a great pic when she was a baby since she didn't know what was going on. I can probably bribe her this year. Lol.

Yeah definitely go when your LO is still a baby. The Santa pic is classic! So far the Santas we've been to aren't too creepy... They were grandpa-like. Maybe we've been lucky though.
My eldest has refused every year after turning 1 so far. Not sure when I can get another pic... But I love her first pic, she was crying my second DD had a fun pic too... She just looked clueless in her pic last year, haha.

My DH isn't a huge fan of taking DS to the mall to see Santa, but my grandparents used to dress up as Santa and Mrs. Claus for different events so we are going to try to get all the great grandkids together and have them be our Santa & Mrs. Claus! I think it will make it more memorable. My grandparents dressing up was one of my favorite things about Christmas!

We surprisingly have an awesome little Santa's village set up that our town puts on so we're totally going for pictures! I seriously can't wait (except I just know LO is going to lose it lol)

We're Jewish. But even if we weren't lo has such bad stranger anxiety it could never happen. She screamed when I was holding her next to chip and Dale (chipmunks, not strippers ) at Disney.

We were supposed to go yesterday, but we were at Disney the night before and thought it might be too much for him. So we're going next weekend. Mall of Millenia in Orlando has the best Santa ever! I swear it's him.

DD would be furious if she didn't see Santa. She has a mixture of fear and bewilderment of seeing him in person, ha. So cute.

Nope.. DD is deathly afraid of him. But she said she is willing to accept a gift from him via mail hah!

My uncle dresses up as Santa for something he does with a charity he's involved in. LO won't be here til May but next Christmas, I'm hoping to get a pic with LO and my uncle

If she is in good spirits on the day we try for it we will do it. But I don't want any crying Santa pics!!!

Yup! My employer does a children's Christmas party and the Santa is very sweet. I'm hoping LO will cooperate this year and we get another great pic.
