I've always wondered if family favorites get together... and maybe black sheeps flock together too. Or maybe favorites and black sheeps are attracted to each other?
Help us nail this down! Are you the family favorite? What about your SO?

I don't think I'm the favorite, my parents definitely show is all the same amount of love and attention, but I am the baby so I'm definitely the most spoiled. DH is definitely the family favorite.

Yup. Black Sheep + Black Sheep. He's more if one than me though. He sticks out in his family SO much.

Black sheep, definitely. I'd say Farmer Man is probably more of a favorite, although I'm working on turning him into a black sheep, lol.

I don't know if I'd consider myself the favorite, but I'm the oldest of the cousins (and bringing the first grandchild to the table!) so I'm in pretty good DH is definitely the family fave, though!

Well I don't want to say our parents marked us as their favorites bc we all started off on the same starting block...with that said though both of us are now the only 'normal' ones out if all of our siblings. So basically they're making it easy in us by lacking jobs, education, social normalcies (aside from being raised respectfully). It's very strange...I lovely siblings but out of 5 of us (that's including my 2 step siblings) I'm the only one who has a real job and went to school. My sister is 35 w/2 kids and bartends/waits tables. My brother is 32 and hasn't worked in 4 years, he lives w/a friend for free. My step siblings REALLY make me look good. I'm not living at home incapable of remembering to keep up on my personal hygiene or doing heroin in my spare time. My SIL is just young, she's a kid trying to figure herself out. 20 years old, making pizza at a gas station and has dread locks lol...she's easily the most book smart person I know and amazingly artistic (had a full ride scholarship to a Seattle art school) but just can't get her shiz together...
So I guess by default Dh and I win...?
That was a LONG answer

My husband is the favorite, though its not glaringly obvious as we get older. My parents have never showed favoritism towards any of us (5), though after giving them their only grandchild, I think I'm up there.

DH is the black sheep and I'm an only but my family is pretty negligent so it's pretty much the same!

My family doesn't seem to have a favorite . Dh is the favorite though.

The entire family knows my BIL is my MIL's favorite. I wouldn't call DH a black sheep though. My mom is much better about not showing favorites so I don't know. I know my sister is my dad's favorite though. I used to be until I was 7 and she came along

DH is the black sheep in his family. In my family I am pretty normal, bordering on favorite because I am the only daughter

I'm the black sheep. He's neutral, but I don't think his family does favorites.

I'm not anywhere close to being the black sheep, but I am not the favorite. My family is smaller and my older cousin, also the first grsndchild is the clear favorite. DH's family is really large and Betty chill. He is well liked, but I don't think they have clear favorites.

I'm the only child, so, duh, I'm the favorite :). DH isn't a black sheep, but his sister is the favorite, I think. She stayed close to his parents, so it just makes sense.

I don't think my parents favor me or my brother, but my husband is like 'the white sheep' - they almost look down on him for being successful and having his life together. They're weird.

@JerricaBenton: I was going to say almost the same thing about myself. On my mom's side of the family, there's not a lot of people that graduated highschool and quite a few with no jobs, substance abuse issues and children by various mothers/fathers. I was the first to obtain a university degree, have a professional career and I guess "married up" so I do tend to be the odd one out and get a lot of comments about being "rich" and thinking I'm better than the family, and about my parents sheltering me and my sister too much.
Within my immediate family I don't think there's a real favourite between me and my sister. I'm the first born, so I think there's more expectations on me, and my parents are very proud of of my achievements, but my sister is definitely more spoiled. Same in DH's immediate family - he's the first born, his sister is more spoiled.
