Gifts have been trickling in for about a week now.. and I've opened every single one of them!
SIL came by with some gifts for my LO and I opened them this morning. LO's only 8 months old.. so she doesn't know the difference!

Ha, wait til Christmas? That's funny. Are we supposed to? If so, my bad. I get soooo excited to open the presents for the LO. The ones for us, not so much.

We kind of wait. We just received our Christmas gift from my husband's grandparents. It was sitting in the post office for three days because they suck at delivering packages. It was Harry and David fruit and other stuff. The fruit's in surprisingly good condition considering it was at the post office for a few days.
My husband's hardcore against opening presents early. The package received last night is the only one that will be opened ahead of schedule. We sent his parents a Kindle as a Christmas/birthday present. My MIL opened it right away on Monday, a week before Christmas.

We opened all our presents early and now have nothing to open during Chanukah. But we've been so busy I'm glad we did that. And my lo is 5 months so she doesn't care.

DH blew the surprise on both our gifts (long story) so we opened the other day. Fam will be on Christmas eve & Christmas.

We don't open them as they arrive, but we do open them early. We like to open them at home before we leave on Christmas Eve morning. That way we sort of get our private time (and if my husband gives me underwear, I don't have to open it in front of his parents!). We open gifts from our parents on Christmas day though (his parents in the morning, mine in the afternoon).

We always wait until Christmas. I love the anticipation! Usually we call my mom and open the gifts from her while she is on the phone with us. After that we exchange the gifts from each other. This year we'll be facetiming her though. I'm excited about that.

Well we generally have a Christmas weekend because we have so many people to visit. This year on the 23rd we will go to DH's grandparents house to have a Christmas, then on the 24th we will do Christmas at DH's adoptive fathers house and then on Christmas day we will open gifts at our house and go to my parents house.

We typically open one on Christmas Eve, and the rest on Christmas morning. Though I was a very bad girl and opened the petit fours my mom sent. There are no other sweets in the house.

Yup! I'm not sure if his folks are sending us gifts (if so, they're not here yet) and we already did my family Christmas. The rest of our gifts are from each other so we'll do those on Christmas Day.

Yes. Well Christmas Eve we go to the in-laws, so we open their presents, but the rest is on Christmas, including Santa's presents.

It's actually funny- the extent to which this thread upsets me. I literally just said out loud "No! Wrong, wrong, wrong!"
(needless to say, I firmly believe in waiting until Christmas morning)

We'll open one of Christmas eve and the rest Christmas morning... I haven't decided which gift I'm going to allow my husband to open on the 24th though, I should get on that.

Gifts that come in the mail, I'll open right away unless they're wrapped individually. Everything else we wait until Christmas day, which kills my husband because his family always opened presents on Christmas eve.

We open one on Christmas Eve and then open the rest on Christmas morning.
DD is opening some at her dads house on Christmas Eve because the tradition in his family is to open them all up on Christmas Eve and then spend Christmas Day eating and visiting family members and friends.

I always wait! If we get gifts in the mail, they go under the tree until Christmas morning.

We actually opened them early last night. We'll have more tomorrow from his family and then going to mine on Sunday.

We've opened some already because when they were given to us, the giver would said, "Open it! Open it!" We'll probably open them tonight (in-laws are coming for dinner) and tomorrow (going to my parents' for lunch). On Christmas day we'll be running around getting ready for church.

Yes, I always wait because they all look so nice in a pile under the tree. If we opened them, then there would be nothing under the tree!

haha omg you too funny!
i haven't received any gifts. except from my hubs - which was given before xmas, and used already! (a new dslr camera!). but if i were to receive gifts, i'd get a tree and put it under the tree and open it on xmas!

My husband and I are having our own little personal Christmas tonight but other than that we wait!

Wow! I'm amazed at how many people open gifts already! We can only open one on Christmas Eve, and everything else on Christmas morning. With the boy coming soon, it was hard to think of what I wanted this year, as I'm already getting everything I want.
I am currently using one gift- a new laptop, but so much of it is for working at home, so it morphed more into necessity rather than gift. Underneath our tree is pretty much full and ready for Christmas morning.

We always open 1 on Christmas eve (it's always PJ's so we have nice new PJ's when we open presents Xmas morning). Then I'm still a kid at heart and get all excited and wake everyone up at 6am Xmas morning.
