Bee and I have been watching Episodes on Showtime:

It's a fun show, complete with Matt LeBlanc playing Matt LeBlanc. But what has really amazed me is the wit and repartee that seems to be a regular part of how the British husband-and-wife team talk to each other.

It's actually encouraged me to try and be a bit more verbally sophisticated. Not sure if it's working though. I just don't know how to pronounce a lot of fancy words. Like today I wanted to say the word "fealty," but I realized that I'm not sure I know how to pronounce it. It probably has something to do with the fact that I've never said that word out loud in my life. Sad, but true.

The even sadder thing is that there are several thousand other words that are in that same category: I know what they mean, but I've never heard them said out loud. I need to get smarter friends. Or be smarter myself, ha!

Are you witty and engage regularly in repartee, with your SO or with others?
