We are working on updating our kitchen. We have old plywood kitchen cabinets so we are adding trim and painting them. We are also adding new hardware. We will do something with the countertops and add a backsplash but we are keeping the total for everything under $500, so it's a fun challenge!

@Bao: We were finishing our basement but they hooked up the water and it flooded and the floor is on back order until July.

Always! I'm in the middle of finishing two beds we built, they're stained and just waiting to be polyurethaned. We're painting the exterior of the house. I'm trying to pick a paint color for my kitchen cabinets. And in the processes of looking for new granite or stone countertops, sink and faucets for my bathrooms.

My mom is having her kitchen remodeled completely so it has been fun helping her sort through all the options.

Painting the ceilings upstairs.
New railings and treads on the stairs,
Redoing the upstairs bathroom.
New baseboards.
Finishing the basement.
Installing a new fence in the back.
Repointing the brick.
New light fixtures in four rooms.
Outfitting the mud room.
Adding a powder room.I'm sure there are some I'm forgetting.

Always! We bought a fixer upper. On the immediate docket for this summer before DD2's first birthday party.
Paint all baseboard
install door trim around 4 doors
Finish fireplace hearth
Finish custom built in shelving + closet with modern barn doors next to fireplace
Paint ceilings in half bath and touch up around the house from water damage
Finish digging out fire pit in the backyard. Finish said fire pit!
Paint the exterior of our house
On face of the house all the wood siding needs to be replaced before the fall.We have already accomplished a TON this summer already!

We don't have money in the budget to redo our kitchen right now, so I'm living vicariously through our DD! Her birthday is in September and my husband is building her a play kitchen and I'm decorating it. At least I can live out my farmhouse sink, butcher block counter, dreamy blue gray cabinet fantasies with a little tiny kitchen for now, haha.

We just installed wainscoting in the hallway. I pained it this week. DH installed new shutters outside. We are tackling the yard next month. Then we are gutting the hall bath and re-doing it.

We're just putting the finishing touches on DS's big boy room. It was wallpapered, so we removed that ourselves, and DH put wainscotting up 3/4 of the way up one wall and a shelf the whole length of the wall. He just cleaned everything out of there this week, and we're shampooing the rug over the weekend. I'm super proud of it!
Once we get everything back in there, we'll start on our office next. This room along with the guest bathroom are the last two rooms in the house that have wallpaper. We're so close!

We are buying a house next week and have a long list of projects. It's not a fixer upper by any means but my husband loves house projects so I'm sure he'll always have something in mind. We'll be 100 before he's satisfied!

Right now T and I are trading rooms. My office is now her bedroom and her bedroom is now my office/future playroom. Since I will be a SAHM after October I don't need the space plus her new bedroom is darker/cooler. All the big stuff is moved- this weekend we will rearrange the art. I ordered a rug for her room from Target. I need to get some blackout curtains, etc. The best part is now her changing table is an old desk in a walk in closet- so the room looks so much better without her diapering stuff everywhere.

DH worked on the garden bed this spring. We really wants to be a lower wooden deck to cove the old broken stone paved one, but I doubt he will actually have time!

We are finally getting around to decorating the place. We recently repainted both the master bedroom and the children's bedroom. I need to put some stuff up on the walls. When the kids get older, we want to replace our carpet upstairs - can't decide whether we should get new carpet, or replace it with a darker wood - if we do the wood we'd have to redo the whole downstairs too so that would cost a lot of money.
We finally got a bed frame and headboard, and recently bought some bedside tables! We've gone without for our nearly 6 years of marriage!

I need to finally finish edging around our bedroom. Our walls are a pretty light blue but I didn't get close enough to the ceiling with the edger tool so there is a purple line all the way around. I recently repainted our front door, and I want to tackle freshening up our half bath in the master.

No projects right now... I just want to sell this dang house. There are lots of projects I want to do in the house we want to buy!
