My LOs only have one cousin and they aren't super close yet. I think LO 1 gets annoyed because her cousin likes to follow her around. My niece gave LO 1 a kiss on the check when she left and LO "wiped" it off dramatically .

Yup! She adores her cousins and they're all very sweet with her. DH nieces are bit bossy with her and my youngest nephew sometimes gets annoyed with her. Lol she always wants to follow him around!

My sister and her kids live on the west coast (where we are from) and we moved to the east coast so they haven't even met yet.
But I am really hoping they will be close and we are planning to implement some summer vacation traditions so the kids can know one another.

Somewhat? They don't really see each other much, but they seem to like each other when they do. It probably helps that they are only 9 months apart. He has an older cousin as well, but they aren't close at all. I think the age difference is too big.

D (7) and my 5 year old niece adore each other. We live 8 hours apart, but they're always in heaven when they get together. In face, me, D and M are surprising her this weekend. M and my brother's youngest (born in August) are only 3ish months apart, so we're hoping they'll have as god of a relationship as their big siblings do.

My boys only have one cousin who lives 3 hours away. N loves playing with J as long as he is well rested. N and J love to "play" with E. There is always a lot of noise when we all get together.

My kids don't have any cousins yet. It will probably be awhile before they do and the age gap will be large enough that I don't think they will be particularly close.

No, they're too old. Some are older than I am. The one closest in age is 16.
She's closer in age to our great nieces and nephews but we only see them occasionally. -
His only local cousin is almost 15 years old! And LO acts like he hates him for some odd reason!

DD only has 1 cousin right now and they are not close. We live too far away
and my brother is no longer with the cousins mother so it makes it even harder.

She has 2 & she loves them both! & they both mostly love her. One is a 2 year old little boy full of crazy (lol) so he says hi to her but doesn't really play with her

No. They don't live close, and they don't visit. We visit them 2-3x per year.

Yes, she's close with her cousins on both side, she considers them her friends. I love that she has built in friends, I'm still close with several of my first cousins! Our parents raised us close and I am thankful for that!

4 of her cousins are 10-14 years older than her and have never met her. The other 2 cousins (eh hem, one still in utero) live on the other side of the country and have never met her either. So, not close.

No. They probably won't get the chance to be very close, unfortunately. My nephew lives 3 hours away and only visits once a month. It's sad to me, because my cousins and I were all so close growing up...

They are close to my nephew. My niece is pretty aloof and doesn't play with anyone.

T goes to the same daycare as his older cousin so they spend lots of time together. He's 8 months and she's 1.5 but they really like each other! Their favorite game is for someone to hold him and chase after her. She runs away and giggles and it sends T into a laughing fit. So cute

I hope they will be! My nieces live about a 2 hour flight away though so their relationship will be about visits rather than day to day interactions

No. She only has one cousin and she has never met her. Plus, her cousin is 15 and she's 2... so there's that as well.
