One is, one isn't! Just like me and Bee.
Are your kids in the big head club?

Both in the upper nineties for head sizes. Hats are a problem around here!
pomegranate / 3113 posts
Yep, but it's not obvious when you look at her. DH has a big head do I'm not surprised...I'm just grateful LO's was average when she was born, haha.
persimmon / 1343 posts
Yes! She has been over 99th percentile sinve about 7 months old (she is 18m now) and has always been in the upper 90s! I notice mostly when she is around normal-headed kids lol and she has big cheeks so that makes it look even bigger XD All from her dad's Korean side Makes me wonder if a second kid would take after me or not!
nectarine / 2771 posts
Yup, 99th percentile here thanks to DH! And it only gets magnified due to her lack of hair and huge cheeks (still at almost 2yo!!)! Hoping #2 will take more after me
cantaloupe / 6869 posts
Yep! He went from 30th percentile to 90th percentile in just 4 months!
clementine / 912 posts
70th percentile for head, but just 12th for height and 33rd for weight. Monster head over here.
eggplant / 11824 posts
Oh yeah - always been over 90%! It's especially noticeable since she's only in the 3rd% for weight and 20% for height. Lots of brains to make room for!

Yes! DH and I both have big heads, and so even when LO was in the 18th percentile for weight, he was still in the 95th for head!
cantaloupe / 6692 posts
YES! He has a huge head. I had to recently cut a sweatshirt so it could fit him.
pineapple / 12793 posts
Nope. Her head is smaller than the rest of her. 75% head, 97% height, & 85% weight.
eggplant / 11716 posts
Nope. Her head % tends to be right in the middle of her height and weight percentages. I think at her last apt, she was around 50%.
apricot / 452 posts
Yep! He wasn't even on the chart for height / weight, but 95% for head size. He had a hard time sitting unassisted because his big noggin would pull him right over. Tee hee.
He looks proportional now at 2.75 (he's 25% now for height & weight, but still 95+% for head circumference).
DH and I both have big heads, so the poor kiddo never stood a chance...
pomegranate / 3438 posts
Nope. When he was born he was only at 3%. It slowly went up and I think now it is in the 10-15% range.
grapefruit / 4584 posts
Haha no. Mine are very average, unlike their mama - lucky them! Although I guess technically speaking, if they are a low percentile weight/height and average in head size...that still makes their heads big doesn't it?!?!
clementine / 927 posts
Off the charts. The pediatrician used to measure his head after the nurses to be sure, but last appt he just said, "well we know his head is on the large side."
cantaloupe / 6730 posts
97th percentile. I only notice when I'm buying her hats. 15 mo and wears size 2-4 hats.
grapefruit / 4997 posts
Yes, 97% for head but she has a head full of long, beautiful hair so it's not that noticeable. She gets compliments on her hair all the time.

Yup, both are and apparently it's from both of us do they had no chance lol. Sorry kids!
persimmon / 1188 posts
Yes, he has consistently been 90th percentile but that doesn't seem that big in this thread. Both of my nephews have big heads too so I think it runs in the family. He's also 90th percentile for length so I guess that helps with proportion!
pomegranate / 3503 posts
My sons head was always 2 weeks ahead of the size of his body during the last few weeks of my pregnancy. I thought he was going to come out disproportionate.
kiwi / 643 posts
Yep. 100th percentile/off the charts since birth!
Both DH and his dad had:have big heads so it runs in the family.
