All of a sudden, our kids are OBSESSED with forts! And by forts, I mean pushing four chairs together and draping sheets over them.
Just goes to show you that past a certain age, it's kind of pointless buying toys (for our kids, at least)... as they get older, their favorite toys are turning out to be a combination of improvisation and imagination!

Yes!!!! She was making me imaginary birthday cakes today when we were outside. It was adorable. She had cooking station (our garden box) and wouldn't allow me to come over because it was a "surprise!"

She gets into it a little bit here and there, and that's when it's the most fun to play with her, she amazes me with what she knows. LO2 isn't quite there yet.

Yes! He pretends to make us meals, does a lot of chatting and role play amongst his toys. It's so cute!
