I definitely am - I'm not going to lie. 
Although I love her independent spirit, I long to have a baby that wants to cuddle and I'm scared that I won't be able to handle two independent kids. (and the tantrums... Ooooh the tantrums..)
What about you? Was that a factor in how many kids you decided to have?

I'm giving the "benefit of doubt" (so to say) for #2. If the pregnancy is as rough as #1, or if I end up with another non-sleeper, I'm done. If not, maaaaaaybe I'll have a 3rd.

@BabyBoecksMom: I've heard that boys are more cuddly! Maybe you'll have a little dude the next time around & get all kinds of cuddles. 
But, yes, having Sadie has made me hesitant to have another. She is such a great baby. She sleeps well and has a great disposition. I'm afraid that can't happen twice & baby number two will be colicky & I will never sleep with two kids to take care of!

We thought #1 was sort of a sucker baby (suckering us in to having another) and then we met #2 and realized how easy a baby could really be. We feel very lucky! Thank goodness though that we didn't wait until Lala was 3... We might have had a different decision!

G was a great baby, no issues. P made me really consider not having anymore b/c I just didn't think I could those first 5 months again! She was SOOO high needs, DH & I really didn't manage well, and both of us went back & forth about being done... Once she leveled out we were back on for more. I think at this point I could handle just about anything!

I think LO is a super easy baby and I'm terrified #2 will be a handful... I don't think we will get lucky with two super easy LOs...

I'm only hesitant to have #2 because LO has been such a dream baby and not only do I not want to have to share my time with her, I'm also worried that we'll have the complete opposite for the next one! Actually, I'm not really worried about that, it's more that I don't want to stop giving DD my undivided attention.
One of my closest friends though had a horribly difficult time with her LO. He had some heart issues when he was born, which prevented him from gaining weight (they ended up having to do a feeding tube, followed by open heart surgery when he was 9 weeks old). He was a terrible sleeper and has never been a good feeder. Even now at 1.5, he still only catnaps and is hit or miss with food, but he's got a lovely little personality and obviously they love him to pieces. She's now 5 months pregnant with her second and her take was 'I've already gone through some of the most challenging things a parent will ever have to go through (the surgery, feeding issues, lack of weight gain, and complete sleep deprivation for a year and a half now) so I know I can handle it. I hope this baby sleeps and eats well, but if not, I know I can do it again and it will all be worth it'. I thought that was a great outlook to have....

Definitely. I love DD to pieces but i can't imagine another super high-needs baby. It's going to be a leap of faith when we decide to try for #2!

C is so awesomely laid back, I'm really scared our eventual #2 will be a wake up call! Our pediatrician and my MIL both say that #1 is so good just so you will have a #2, then that changes your mind.
Hopefully you are due for a chill #2... get busy girl

No. While I'm concerned that there's no way a second could be as easy as the first, and LO brings me so much joy on her own, I feel like I could handle two even if the second was a handful. If the first had been rough, I'd be worried about having two difficult babies.

@BabyBoecksMom: yes, but don't let it stop you! They are usually opposites and mine are. My 1st was never cuddly and was/is such a handful. Right now the baby is soooo cuddly and loooooves being kissed. My 1st wasn't affectionate at all. Gosh, I am making my 1st sound horrible, but you know that I just love her to bits! And she has become more affectionate with age.
Also, my first STTN by 8 weeks. Now we're at 4.5 months and she still wakes up so I was scared of that, but it's not as bad the 2nd time. I know that she'll sleep all the way through some day and I'm not stressing about it yet.
And be glad that you had your harder baby first!

Same thing happened to my sister! My niece never wanted to be held, was super independent and didnt STTN until 18 months. Then she had #2 4 years later and its like night and day. My nephew is so cuddly, STTN right away and just has a different personality. She always says she's glad she had DD first because after her she felt like she could handle anything.

My sister always says that her baby #1 tricked her. He was an absolute dream baby/toddler. Baby #2, on the other hand, is an absolute terror. They are polar opposites in every way. She always says if #2 came first she never would have had a second!
ETA: She loves them both to pieces and wouldn't trade her babies for the world. She just means in retrospect, baby #2 is so difficult it would have stopped her from having another.

#1 isn't deterring me from #2, but my difficult pregnancy (bed rest) for #1 definitely is.

For me, #1 isn't stopping from wanting a #2. With LO, he was super colicky and didn't sleep well until 6 months. Once we hit 6 months, life got back to normal again.
I was thinking about my pregnancy and labor & delivery. My pregnancy was okay with a few snafus I hope to prevent with #2 like bacterial infection & yeast infection which resulted in some spotting. My labor & delivery was fantastic. I had a great birth experience. It was tough being in pain, but in general, the whole night & birth was pretty great minus the tearing & roids afterwards. Pregnancy and L&D aren't deterring me from trying for another one soon.

I am one of the annoying responders- my daughter is very happy and laid back and fun:). We are having mega sleep issues right now, but previously she was a great sleeper too. I agree with the others who worry that #2 will be a payback of some sort since #1 has been pretty happy:)

@Mrs. Jacks: LOL! Love that term! "sucker baby!" I've heard so many times how usually the first is easy so parents will have more. But than also heard if your first one is difficult, usually the 2nd one is a breeze.
In our family history (extended with all of our cousins), First babies were notoriously easy and delightful, and 2nd babies were ALL huge cry-babies. So we kind of expect it.

LO is a great kid, but I worry about caring for him while pregnant and with a new baby. I solo parent about a third of the time so k also worry about being outnumbered on those days. On top of that my delivery was a bit traumatic so I worry about something going wrong again and not surviving and leaving two kids without a mother.

She didn't make me hesitate about wanting another.... It's just the whole being pregnant with a toddler that gets me. My first pregnancy was not easy, my migraines went nuts. I don't know how to deal with them and take care of lo. Once the baby is here I could take meds again and life would hopefully be good again.

It changed it for DH! He always wanted 3 kids, and now he is thinking we're done. I'm still on the fence, but leaning towards done. I think that one baby would definitely be a change of pace, though, after dealing with two at once.
