I would not put eucalyptus or peppermint oil on a rash. Their skin is so sensitive!

I would not trust any beauty product specifically made geared for Asians. I don't know what the testing regulations are! A lot of time name brand products here sold in China are cheap knock offs. So I definitely would not put it on your LO.

@PrincessBaby: my daughter has very sensitive skin and has the exact same problem. And through process of elimination we've narrowed it down to 2 sources: drool and allowing her to self feed (since she gets food all around her mouth). Per Pediatrics recommendations we do the following, before bed I apply Laninoh Lanolin and that seems to mostly clear it up. When it gets pretty bad I apply hydrocortisone and the following nights lanolin until it completely clears up

I would just stick with the hydrocortisone -- my son had a stubborn rash that stuck around or a few weeks am consistently using the hydro cream 2x a day cleared it up!

@PrincessBaby: I wouldn't put foot cream on your LO's face. The rash around babies mouths is normal and can be from drool, teething and food (you'd break out if you slathered food all over your face every day too). My LO often has one and I leave her alone. You also want to be careful with cortisone because it will permanently thin skin. If you must use something, we've had pretty good success with Weleda's calendula cream.

@PrincessBaby: organic virgin coconut oil has helped almost all of E's rashes. I use it instead of diaper cream too.
