We brought the car seat into the house (he USUALLY didn't wake up) and set it down on the living room floor and let him sleep there until he woke up.

I let her sleep, although for the first 8 months of her life, she woke up as soon as wel got home.

if he hasn't been asleep long i will try to transfer him to his crib and hope that he stays alseep or goes right back to sleep. if he has been sleep a while i just leave him in his seat.

I let him sleep in the carseat until he wakes up! (He sleeps in his carseat every week at church.)

We would bring him inside and put the carseat with him in it on the floor

I bring it in and let her sleep. I subscribed to the rule of "don't wake a sleeping baby"
