Charlie could sit in a Bumbo at 3 or 4 months... meanwhile, Olive is 7.5 months (6.5 mos adjusted) and she still can't sit comfortably in a Bumbo! Part of it might be that Olive is skinnier and taller, and doesn't fill out the seat of the bumbo like her shorter/plumper brother haha! Still though... she's pretty old to not be sitting in a Bumbo.
At what age could your LO sit propped up in something like a Bumbo? What about being able to sit up unassisted?

It was 4 months because I remember that was the day the LO sat up and started climbing out of her bouncer so that was the end of that -- she could no longer be contained!

We started putting LO in her Bumbo at 6 weeks for a few minutes at a time (her head was a smidge wobbly but had good neck control)...By 3.5 months she was sitting in it regularly, every day. She was able to sit unassisted at 5 months (but would topple over eventually). She was able to sit alone for long periods of time by 6 months.
This might seem early but she didn't roll over until she was a good 7.5 months.

I think by 6 months lo was sitting up unassisted just for short periods of time. It wasn't until 7-8 months that she sat unassisted without toppling over.

Unassisted at about 6 months. LO improved exponentially in a short period of time. I can't remember propped up and we don't have a bumbo.

He started sitting up briefly at 5 months and was pretty well able to do it like a pro by 6 months. No thanks to the Bumbo though ... he was too chubby for it!

We put Maddox in the bumbo at 2 weeks just for a photo-op. He was so little that his head was supported by the back of the seat! He started sitting in occasionally around 2 months and it went on heavy rotation at 3 months. He loves it! We started using the Jumperoo at 2 months, but he didn't really get into until 3 months.

She's just about 2 months but has awesome head control so she sits in it for a few minutes every day now. She loves being upright

Both girls sat in the bumbo at around 3.5 months.... DD1 sat unassisted right around 6 months, DD2 slightly earlier at about 5.5 months.

We never had a Bumbo, but Lala could sit reliably on her own at 4.5 months. Maisie can sit if she's holding on to a finger. She's a crazy strong baby! Lala was definitely not doing that at that age!
