When I was in grade 5 and my brother was in grade 8, we became buddies rather than fighting siblings. At this age is when we teamed up against my parents and had each other's backs. I hope my girls become fast friends!

maybe once I hit high school? we're almost 5 years apart, so it's kind of varied.

We fought a lot growing up, but as we got older, it got better. My sister is 3 years younger than me. When I left to go to college (only 30 min away, but I lived on campus), we got really close. Now, she's in her last year of college and she's in love with my newborn!

Umm... when we all became moms. Haha. Yeah it took 25 years to happen, but at least we all get along, right? Actually I take that back. My oldest sister doesn't have any kids, and she is usually left out.

me and my sister who is closest in age (26 months) had some pretty big ups and downs our entire life. We're just different personalities. Once I got out of college, we became really close and still are. She knew I was pregnant with DD before DH did!

Not till we were both at college. High school was brutal. Earlier than that we weren't best friends but we weren't enemies.

My two youngest sisters, right from birth. My sister who is four years younger than me took a lot of work. Maybe when I was at uni.... Now we're super close.

We started becoming friends at 30, she's 4 years younger. Then she lost a baby while I was pregnant, and that set things back a ton. Then we lost my dad, and I guess you could say that helped. We're pretty close now that I'm 32 and she's pregnant...

haha.. not really ever? My brother and I get along well, but he lives across the country My sister and I don't really get along! She is way too negative and I cannot be around her for long periods of time. Maybe one day...

Never really. Although we've gone through periods of being closer. My brother is 7.5 years older than me and around the time I went into middle school and he moved out he stopped seeming to hate me and tried to take on the role of "cool older brother" a bit (i.e. if you ever get drunk and don't want to call mom you can call me). But we weren't really chummy still.
We were probably closest when I was in college and he moved to the city I lived in and he didn't know anyone. We started doing dinner every month and then he had some health problems that put him in a wheel chair for a while and I was seeing him a few times a month to help him with stuff like grocery shopping. But that only lasted until he met his wife and then totally distanced himself from our family.

We've always been close! I fought more with my younger brother than my older brother, but nothing major. Now we're all very good friends.

when i went off to college. before that, my sister and i had a bad relationship. she used to beat me up all the time and i considered moving in with my grandma because things got so bad at one time. now we're like bff's and when i bring up our past my sister gets really emotional and begs me to stop.

Still waiting?? I am 34 and he is almost 4 years younger. We are really different and live on opposite sides of the country and don't have much in common...

We've always been close but have definitely gotten closer in recent years.

Never really? Even when we were little they didn't like animals or being outside or swimming- the things I liked. We don't get along at all!
