Since we started bottled feeding during the day LO's weight gain has slowed down by about 50%. She only just doubled her birthweight at nearly 4 months old. How old was your LO when they doubled their birth weight

We just weighed her yesterday and she's at 14lbs so I think she'll get to it by her 4 month check up.

LO is 5 months and last week when I weighed her she still hasn't doubled her birth weight. she was born at 6-12, at 4 months she was 11-2, and two weeks ago she was 11-9. I can't imagine her being 13-8 any time soon!

LO doubled his birth weight really fast (within 2 months) but he was born at 4.5 lbs.

Doubling birth weight at 4 months is pretty good! I believe they want babies to reach that mark around 6 months, generally. My first baby doubled it somewhere around 5 months I think (she was 100% FF at that point)... My second baby, not til 7ish months (she was EBF).

He was 8 # 9 oz at birth and reached 17 pounds at 12 months old. We had some weight gain issues.

C is 4 1/2 months and she's still several pounds off. I bet it'll be between 5 and 6 months for us.

LO doubled his birthweight at about 10 weeks? He was 6.9 at birth and 12.8 at his 2-month checkup.

LO was 6lbs. 11 oz. at birth. She doubled her birth weight between 2 and 3 months. At 4 months she is 15 lbs. But she gained a lot during her first 6 weeks--her pediatrician said she was way above average for weight gain for EBF babies at that time.

My LO was 8lbs 8oz at birth; EBF; started solids at 6 months and she was 16lbs 3oz at her 6 month check up

If I recall correctly not until almost 12 months (was 8lb 0.07oz at birth) but she had grown almost a foot in that year; at 28m she weighs 25lbs and was almost 3ft tall

She is three months old now and is still three pounds away from doubling her birth weight (which would be 14 lbs).

@regberadaisy @mrsjazz I know! LO is safely in the 98th percentile. She's already hit 16 lbs at 12 weeks, holy cow. I'm just grateful my milk supply has been able to match her appetite so far.

I think Lily is probably there she will be 4 months on the 28. She was 13 lbs 12 oz at 3 months 1 week.

Baby X doubled his birth weight around 7.5 months, if I had to guess. We don't weigh him between doctor appointments, but he was 8lbs at birth, 15lbs at 6 months, and 17lbs at 9 months.

Ok thanks guys, it makes me less worried about LO. She is gaining weight but not as much as when she was being exclusively breastfed.
