So, I'm only 5.5 weeks but I feel like a complete moron. I don't really know what to expect with pregnancy. I mean-- I know generally what to avoid and that unicorns will start singing in my second trimester. But in terms of what decisions there are to make, which scans to get, which tests to ask for, etc--- no clue.
I know less than that about birth. I'm generally aware that some people do natural but I don't really understand why.
And then there is the baby. No clue. Breastfeeding? Nope. General philosophies on sleeping or feeding or raising the tiny human? None.
On one hand-- I feel like I should probably get moving on figuring all this out. At least the pregnancy bit. But on the other, it still feels SO early.
When did everyone else start figuring all these things out? Were you all up on the info before you got your BFP or were you totally clueless like me-- and if so, when did you start getting books? (And what books should I get??)
