Take a video walk-through of your new house! ESPECIALLY if you plan on staying there forever. Even if it's a dirty, box-y, unorganized mess - you won't care in a year. It might even be fun to see the chaos. Also, a million and a hundred pictures. If you plan on making a lot of changes (cosmetic or otherwise), take a new video each year! It is killing me this morning that we didn't do this. We have changed sooooo much in the last 4 years, and I have very minimal documentation

So, just a small tip for those that aren't too late!
