Anyone have any experience with the new "automatic" rock n play?

For DD we borrowed a swing which she really liked so trying to decide what to do for baby #2. Rather than looking for a new or used swing (which are always so bulky) I was thinking of getting a rock n play this time around. I saw that they now have an automatic version and wondered whether it is worth the extra cost (although I'm guessing a grandparent will want to guft us this since not much to buy the second time around) or is as noisy as some of the Amazon comments would seem to suggest. Any thoughts?
