Ok at 8 months he started to STTN but after an illness and some teeth she's up once or twice. I don't think she's hungry just can't fall back asleep on her own.
I went out and bought a wubbanub hoping that helps with her being able to find her pacifier at night an a glow seahorse to see if maybe that helps. Any other things that maybe will help.

My son is most soothed by his pacifier (glow-in-the-dark so he can find it), his blankets that he loves to wrap up and burrow in, and his lovey that is a turtle. Also, if he does wake up we restart his sleep sheep. Teething has been the most destructive to his sleep and sometimes nothing will soothe him but a dose of advil to relieve the pain.

good luck with sleep training - i kept a receiving blanket in his room and the only other thing that helped me was my video monitor so i knew he wasn't hurt even though he was screaming like he was!

White noise machine, dark curtains, plain (not busy) bedding. And I wish you lots of luck and patience if you are going to do CIO. It's hard work but nap training is my biggest parenting success!
