E's full head of hair he was born with his thinned out a whole lot, and he's completely bald in some areas. Mama is sad.
I know it's not unusual, so I'm not worried, but he looks so funny in pictures now! I can't wait for his new hair to grow in!
Did your LO lose the hair they were born with? Did they go completely bald or just partially?
If so, how long did it take to grow back in? Was their hair a different color/texture/thickness when it grew back in?

I can't help but we are in the middle of this too! He didn't have thick hair to begin with, but now it's completely disappeared in the front except for a Mr. T-style mohawk. It's so weird-looking. I'm curious to see what others say re: what to expect.

Our little one didn't loose too much, but what new growth she had came in much lighter.

M was born with a full head of hair as well. She lost 85% of it! She's 6 months and I think it's starting to come back. Or it's wishful thinking!
Contemplating shaving it. Everyone keeps telling me it'll grow back faster if I do.

My guy's grew back a bit lighter, but not like the dramatic change of his little friend who started out with extremely dark hair, and lost that to turn BLOND!

Both of my kids were born with dark hair and bevame totally bald by about 2 months. DS is still bald at 7 months; DD finally started growing beautiful blonde hair at about 2.

My lost all her hair and was bald for a little bit. Then she grew a Mohawk. It was awesome.

Yes! L had two big bald patches on the back of her head 
I was so self conscious about it but thankfully it grew back when she was about 6-7 months old. It doesn't appear much different from her old hair - maybe calmer? It doesn't seem to stick straight up as much

LO has not lost his hair, but he was born with red hair and I think it's starting to grow out blonde. He was born with blonde tips so it's not a stretch to think I might get my blondie after all! (I'm so sick of answering the question, "Where did that red hair come from?" since I'm blonde and DH is brunette... I've started telling them "the mailman!")

I'm not even sure if it fell out or not because she was born with so little hair to begin with. At 4 months, she's still bald.

Both my kids have like a man's receding hairline!
When little girl was about a month old, she lost it all, including her eyebrows, except for a ring of thin hair around the back of her neck. It grew back in within a few weeks but it's just peach fuzz. It was brown to start and is darker now. But her eyebrows and eyelashes came in and are absolute perfection...I'm so jealous.
Little boy always had more hair, but still isn't that much, and has the old man ring around the back too. He seems to be having a hair growth spurt again at 3.5 months.
I didn't have more than peach fuzz until I was like...3? So I'm not counting on them having much anytime soon

Our Lady has never had much hair- but what little she had did fall out. At 11 months, she has a comb over on top and a little mullet in the back. It's always been a medium brown with some redish, and just recently, I started seeing a whole new layer of hair growing in under her comb over.

E ended up with a bald spot on the back of her head where it rested on her carseat/swing/crib. It's finally growing over now.

LO is just starting to lose some hair now at almost four weeks old, funnily enough she has some really cute hair on her ears, shoulders and on her back just above her butt Not sure when that hair will disappear though!
