LO received a little heart charm bracelet for her birthday.

we got a bunch of 24k jewelry for the LO since that is a chinese tradition but i am not a fan so i gave it all to my mom to melt down.

Hhaah our baby girl already has jewelry. When my mom was in China she brought back some "silver" bracelets for baby.
Something about the silver in China is different and it actually whitens as you wear it more. It's weird but it's true.
We're not having a official one month celebration but I think she will still get some 24K jewelery as well when relatives meet her for the first time.@Andrea: you might know what I'm talking about it's one of those where it's expandable?

Oh wow! I'm such a traditionalist sometimes. I will keep stuff like that even though I know she will likely not wear it.
Like I have a TON of gold from our wedding and my husband asks me why don't we just melt it down?? And I said cuzzzz when other people get married we have to give them gold. And you KNOW it will be more expensive in the future! -

Heck yeah! I'm not a yellow gold person so what am I going to do with all that yellow gold. Hahah so they're getting regifted during tea ceremonies we'll going to be in. I'll at least swap sides though haha. Like I'll give ones I got from my mom's side to my dad's side. haha.
Well the only ones I won't regift are ones my brothers and mom got me. Especially not the dragon & Phoenix bangles. Those I'm saving for my daughter.
