Our summer infant day and night monitor is on its last legs.... so we're looking into a new one. Anyone have any recommendations for a baby monitor? We would like something with good range, and ideally a sister monitor option because we'll be using this for two kids now.

I bought the Motorola MBP36 with two cameras (expandable up to 4) and LOVE it. Absolutely love it! BRUs will have sales on their monitors so if you can I would wait until it goes on sale again. The only bad thing I have to say about it is the battery life on the parent unit. But I think most video monitors' parent units have awful battery life. I just bought an extra a/c adapter from Radio Shack so I have one next to my bed and one on the main level of our house.

We also have the motorola and love it! Super good video and sound quality.

@erwoo and @hilsy85: that was the one I was leaning towards, but I wasn't sure if I should go for that or the Foscam. I'm going to go check it out at BRU later...

I just came back from BRU and they're offering a $50 gift card right now if you purchase the Motorola monitor! We combined that with a $10 for $20 Toys 'R Us Groupon we had... so we saved ourselves $60. Thanks for the rec - looking forward to trying it out once N wakes up from her nap! It's also cheaper at BRU than at Amazon for this monitor.

Don't get this one: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2815277&prodFindSrc=search. We have it and I hate it. It's always out of range... or in range and you reach for a glass of water sitting beside it on the table and it magically goes out of range. If it's not playing these tricks on me, the battery is usually dead.

We have the Summer Infant Baby Touch Video Monitor and it's been good so far. The battery is a little wonky but we can see LO pretty clearly. Would recommend!
