DH and I are undecided on a name for our boy. I posted a gold thread a while back but see I wasn't very specific. I *really* appreciate your help! There are so many name savvy bees on here (I am not one of them...) so here we go!

1. Our last name begins with an L and rhymes with "clobber" so, basically, take the c off "clobber."
-- this means that any names ending or beginning with s are out because it will sound like "slobber" ehhh...
-- also means any names with a strong L sound are out because it starts to sound like "blah blah" i.e. Colin Lauber
-- also names with "er" are out i.e. Carter Lauber

2. Style: If this baby were a girl, her name would be Madeleine Louise. For boys, we tend to like names that are traditional but have an Irish/ English flair to them. Names we both liked but vetoed because of our last name are:
--Liam (this was our favorite by far)
-- Callum
-- Colin
Other names DH vetoed are:
-- Blake (having the L so close to the beginning doesn't bother me)
-- Emmett
-- Gavin
-- Micah

3. The baby's middle name will be Lawrence...the double L with our last name isn't the greatest but it's better than the other option Robert.

4. My pick is Ethan Lawrence Lobber but DH isn't sold. I do love how it brings a softness to our harsh sounding last name.
