Thanks ladies!
@lemondrop: LOL! YES! It WAS the only day my OB couldn't be there! But honestly the labor was so fast and we actually had to wait for the doctor on-call, we could have just delivered with the nurses!
@MamaMoose: Thanks. It's been getting easier with each feeding thankfully, espeically as I figure out how to maneuver her arms.
@ladyfingers: That's the tough part, she LOVES being swaddled, and would be fine when the nurses did a tight swaddle, but any chance she gets she will push her arms out!
@mrs. wagon: I've been thinking about ordering a Woombie to try!
@Mrs. Pen: No, thanks for the advice! That's basically what I've been doing, just nursing on demand, as long or as short as she wants, I guess cluster-feeding? It's been helping a lot!
@photojane: Sounds very similar!

K is adorable, congratulations!!! Our girls are apart by only 4 hours, very nice. And 3 lbs, haha! I couldn't believe there was a giant inside of me and I'm glad I didn't know before the birth. I hope you are feeling great and recovering nicely, and I really wish I was as skilled at swaddling as the hospital nurses! I guess practice makes perfect. Congrats again, yaaaay!
*ETA* That second pic is sooo cute! I love nursing expressions; I fall more in love w/LO every time we do it! Except for the hurting nipples part, but whatever. I hope BFing gets better and your milk comes in soon! I bet the cluster feeding will help...our first couple of nights were like constant nursing but the nurses kept promising it would make my milk come in sooner!

Many, many congratulations—she's absolutely adorable.
Our LO had the same "I must have my hand free!" thing when he was born so the hospital nurses swaddled him with an arm out, even when he was only a few hours old! Nearly five months on, he still loves to wave those arms about! Congrats again.
