So, my baby shower is this weekend on Saturday (eeeek!) I'm so so excited but today have been left wondering if I should purchase gifts to present all the moms who are hosting my shower. My Mom, Stepmom, DHs Mom, and DHs Stepmom have all graciously planned this event so I'm wondering what other people did?

I only had one friend who hosted/planned my shower and I gave her a gift of thanks. I think it's a nice gesture. It doesn't have to be elaborate, just something nice and meaningful.

I'm definitely wanting to do this and am trying to think of something meaningful/sentimental for the Moms. I'm just drawing a blank!

I just got a spa giftcert and VS gift cert for the 2 family members who hosted mine.

Hostess gifts aren't very popular around here. I've never gotten any or given any. But if you want to give something, you can't go wrong with edible or a gift card.

My mom, aunt, and sister are hosting mine: I got my mom an LL Bean tote bag with her name on it (Grandkids call her "Gaga" rather than grandma, ha!). I got my aunt a pandora charm for her bracelet. And I got my sister a critter boy towel from potterybarn and a hooded beach towel - for her little boy due a month after me (she has 2 little girls and no boy stuff!)

My MIL and good friend technically hosted.
So for my MIL I got her a "I love grandma" frame and we went for massage together!
My good friend I got her a set of chevron throw pillows she wanted from Etsy. -
I of course feel like a major jerk only thinking of this today! Keep the ideas coming ladies, I love them!

I don't think I'm going to do hostess gifts for my baby shower. I gave them for my bridal shower (I was the first one to get married in our group of friends) and then never got one myself after hosting 5 showers... so I just don't think they're common here.

With my book themed shower I gave each host a fun book that was appropriate for them specifically (my mom got one called "You don't look like a grandma") and an amazon gift card. For my hometown shower, I gave my aunt who hosted a travel coffee mug and starbucks gift card (she loves starbucks). For my work shower (hosted by the English department chair and another teacher in the department), I gave them each a journal and barnes and noble gift card.

I'm making these bird seed wreaths that I found on Pinterest: http://pinterest.com/pin/215609900880520585/. I've done three so far and have one to go. I think I'll double the size of the last one for my Mom. I think all four ladies will love it!! I just have to find some ribbon or burlap and I'll be done. They were easy, cheap and fun!!

My big shower is being hosted by my sister and my husband's sister. I will definitely get them a gift but still undecided on what. I'll probably get them some kind of gift card with a little gift according to what they like.
My smaller shower is being hosted by my childhood neighbor and her mom as a return for me hosting hers last year. They will get gift cards as well.
