For your baby shower or ones you've been invited to, where were they held?
At a house, restaurant, hotel meeting room, clubhouse, fire hall, event/ banquet venue or somewhere else?

Showers thrown for me were held at private homes. I've thrown showers at private homes, rented event spaces and restaurants. I'd really love to throw one in a park, but the timing has never lined up well.

All of them have been at rented spaces like a community center or outdoor park. I don't know too many people that could easily fit 40+ people in their homes- or would want that kind of traffic.

I've been to quite a few held in a community room at a church.

Most of the showers I've been to have been at people's homes. I've been to one at a restaurant, one at a country club, and a couple at a hotel ballroom.

I had a shower at work, one at a restaurant and one at a house. They were all lovely but the food was best at the restaurant!

Most I've been to have been at houses. Mine was at a hotel meeting room since it was out of town and thrown the morning after a cousin's wedding, we were all staying at the same place so it was super easy.

Most have been at homes, but a few were at a local community center/meeting room (had to be rented out).

In my area, most of the showers I've been to have been at restaurants. We looked into having my sister's catered at my mom's house and it was cheaper to have it in a restaurant. I've been to one in someone's home and the girls involved with the planning said it ended up being really expensive.

Here, showers have 45+ guests and are always held at banquet halls.

Both my wedding and baby shower was held at someone's home. I've never been to a shower in a restaurant or hall, but I have been to showers in some pretty fancy houses.
