I know vaccines do not cause autism; however, I cannot shake the annecdotes of parents who say their kids were under the weather during immunizations and then were later diagnosed with autism.

Tuesday I had a sore throat, Wednesday a runny nose. Today (Thurs) throat is better, nose still runs. I called the insurance nurses' hotline because baby is sneezing more and threw up three times since eating BM this morning. The nurse advised to feed him less in one sitting (sounds like she's addressing reflux) and to get him to his doctor within 3-4 hours.

His appointment is set this afternoon for a sick visit. His well visit is Monday and he is supposed to receive his first vaccines (2 mos). Let's say he is diagnosed as being sick I wonder if I should delay the vaccines. Have you had to make a similar decision?
