I've been dosing my 6.5 mo old with Tylenol for a fever and her fever returns after the meds wear off (its at 100.1). My doctor said I could try ibuprofen and wondered what people thought worked better? She'll have had Tylenol the maximum amount in 24 hours soon so I wanted to hold off on more of it but this means running to the store with a sick baby!

I dosed her when it was in the 99.5 range and after talking with the doctor I realized I had started meds earlier than needed. But today it's hung out near the "true fever" range of 100.4.
