@winniebee: Congrats!!
I'm currently being monitored for Asymmetric IUGR as well. I'm 29 weeks and hoping to hold out as long as possible. We'll see what the ultrasounds say!
My high risk doc did say they usually do C-sections for IUGR.... but i would prefer not to if possible. Did you doc try to encourage that?

@LaughLines: you know, After an initial scare at 28 weeks, the doctors were thinking the baby was just skinny like his brother. All of my scans from 28-38 weeks showed good interval growth and that he as just growing on his own curve. I always knew it was a possibility that they would want to induce at some point but assumed that once I reached 36 wks it would be an induction rather than a c section. I knew by 36w that my cervix was favorable, too. I'm not sure if there is a cut off, but I think in general 34+ wkrs do well with vaginal births. Good luck to you!
