What's the big difference between the two? LO #1 is pretty much potty trained, while LO #2 is still in diapers. Also since I have a septic system are toddler wipes septic safe?

Dunno about septic but toddler wipes are flushable and definitely break down more easily like TP where I wouldn't flush regular baby wipes.

Toddler wipes are advertised as flushable but everything I read says not too!!
We used them in the past and they do tend to clog the toilet - I try to use TP whenever possible!

I think it's a marketing ploy more than anything. I personally wouldn't flush wipes of any sort, but we live in a very old (as in 1900s!) home and we rent, so I'm overly cautious.

@wheres_c: I never heard of them either. I assume we will go straight to toilet paper

I wouldn't flush them, we have plumbers in the family and they say they don't break down as well as toilet paper.

@lavender: I think it is, and they're very expensive, which is just another one of the reasons we don't use them.
I personally don't like to flush anything other than toilet paper, even into a septic system.
