What was your baby's first "word"? What was their favorite sound to make?
DD has started making frequent noises and her favorite"word" to say is nn-GAH! It is seriously so cute. We say it back to her all the time. To bad she had no idea yet setting as how she is only 4 1/2 weeks.

Aw so cute! C has just started practicing her vowels in the last week- lots of ooh ooh ooh and ahh ahh sounds. I repeat them back to her and we have "conversations". She just turned 8 weeks.

DS's first word was definitely mama but he said 'hoo' practically since birth. For the longest time we called him our little hoo owl.
At 6.5ish, baby girl started saying 'dada'. As in hubs walked through the door, DD looked straight at him and started babbling 'dadadadadada' until he came to play with her. That was this past Saturday. She does it every time she sees him so I guess it's her first word!

We're thinking L's first word is "hi!"
She only ever says it when some one enters and she is waving.
It's still early for words yet so it could be a coincidence.

DH claims its dada but I think that was just a sound. She kinda says dog. Her fav noise is ducka ducka. It's so cute!

LO first word was da-da but she uses "yeah" now all the time and I love it.

At 8 months, DD loves saying 'gheeee' and 'dadadada'
I don't think she's saying either of those sounds as a word, just practicing her voice

Anna has been saying 'Ammaaaa' like 'A ma' or 'mamamamama' for more than a month now.
It's beyond cute.
