So up until now, I've been wearing DD in our K'Tan and Beco Butterfly 2 - a lot more often in the Beco. She's a little over four months now and I'd like to add another carrier to our baby wearing repertoire. I've been reading a lot about ring slings (including WCRS) and woven wraps and can't decide which one would be best for me.

We live in the suburbs so have to drive most everywhere, so mostly I wear DD for short periods - mostly for things like the mall, farmers' market and grocery store. This means I'd like something that is easy to throw on in the parking lot (I imagine this favours ring slings) I don't wear her around the house very much, but am open to doing more of that.

I thought for sure I'd just go with a ring sling, but the more I look at woven wraps the more intrigued I am by the huge variety of carries and the fact that you don't need to fiddle with the rings etc.

I do belong to a local baby wearing group and hope to attend their next meeting later this month (last month's was cancelled). I know the leader prefers wraps over ring slings though, so I'm looking to the baby wearers on HB to see what your preferences are!

Oh, and what you's favourite source for wraps? I've been looking at SBP and Pax Baby for RS and WCRS, as well as Sakura Bloom and Comfy Joey for straight up RS.
