I have an infantino carrier that holds up to 32lbs that I'm trying to use for my 13month old for travel. We haven't used it since about 4 months and I just adjusted the straps and everything to fit him.
However, I am completely clueless about how to get him on my back. When I try to get him to stand, as soon as I turn my back he walks away.
Is this a two person job? Tips?

Have you tried doing it on a chair/sofa? It's much easier than crouching all the way down to the floor.

@Freckles: I didn't because he's so quick. He would be off the chair before I could get him secure and at least with the floor I'm not worried he'll get hurt.

@Mrs. Polish: I always put him on in the front carry and then moved him to the back when I used the beco - found a video online that showed me how.

I am not familiar with your carrier but when I do a back carry I just sort of balance the baby on my shoulder. She never tries to escape although when I first started I'd do it right next to the bed just in case she fell.
