I saw it last night and it was funny! I really liked the comedy and I never like rated R movies. It was barely a rated R by today's standards. Anyway, if you go....stay until the very end.

I saw it last night with a friend! It was so funny, I loved it. I would see it again.
I think it was only really rated R for language and sexual humor.

Heard an interview with Kristin Bell this morning that made me want to see it. But we'll wait for DVD since our LO is 3 months old and I don't want to waste a sitter night on an activity where I can't talk to my husband!

I really wanted to see it but read a really negative review of it today that made me think I'll be disappointed. Probably will rent it once it's streaming on Amazon

@Mrs. Pen: do you feel like it communicated the idea that moms can't have fun as just ... normal moms? Like, the idea that by becoming a mom, you give up all the fun partying, irresponsibility, staying up late, fashionable outfits, self-centeredness, etc.? Because the preview kind of made it seem that way, and if that's all the movie was about, I'd probably rather not see it. But if it's funny and then towards the end appreciates "normal mom life" then that's cool

@DesertDreams88: No, not at all. The premise was more that moms have so many expectations to be perfect; only "organic no BPA, GF, nut free, dairy free, salt free, etc etc" lunches, must be on time for everything, attend every child's extra curriculars, all the PTA meetings, always look good, put on a good family front, etc. It was more about the fact that to be a GOOD mom, we don't have to be perfect, so really we're all just bad moms because none of us know what we're doing and as soon as we get a handle of something, the kids grows up and then back to square one.
It was really, really sweet and there were even a couple parts I teared up.
They had like two party scenes but that's not even what it was about really.

I saw it yesterday with 3 of my mommy friends. We all thought it was hilarious. Even teared up a time or two. All around a good movie, IMO.

I have the day off tomorrow and I might try to meet up with a girlfriend to see it!

Went last night with a couple moms from work, it was really funny. We laughed a lot, it was worth it! It's great to sneak away with other moms too!

Seeing it tonight. It will be my first childless outing with friends since my daughter was born a year and a half ago. So excited!

I'm at work, but did a little PTO hooky movie viewing with my coworker after a crappy week. We just saw it. It was a lot funnier than I was expecting. I love Kathryn Hahn. Here and there, it was a little formulaic. It felt like Bridesmaids goes Mommy. Look, I had two Mamaraze drinks and got these cheesy shakers. Those drinks went down like butter. Best souvenir and little memento of a fun Friday afternoon.

I want to so badly! DH and I don't have any friends with kids, so I'll probably just watch it on Prime with him.
