has anyone used this? I'm wondering how feasible it would be to use this to bath the girls together in the big tub (2 months and 2.5 years).
I'm usually solo at nights, and bath time is really, really long with two separate routines. I have to bathe them one at a time, or put the baby tub on the floor next to the big tub and do them at the same time and get one dressed in the bathroom while the other plays..etc. it's a pain in the neck.

I haven't used anything like that, but I'm super impressed you're bathing them both at once! This problem is the reason my DS gets a bath about twice a week. I just sit J (3 months) in the bouncy seat next to the tub while giving DD (2.5y) her bath. Solo evenings are no joke!

@MrsF: haha! normally I go longer, but they both have rashes this week (constant EBF poo, and I don't know what my toddler's deal is) so every time it heals with the diaper cream it comes RIGHT back with the next gross diaper. So I've been more diligent but gosh, it takes ALL my energy! haha!

I usually have to bathe my boys by myself and I use that same exact seat. I used to do one at a time, but once the baby got a little sturdier, I stuck them both in the tub at the same time with the baby in the seat. I still use it at 10 months because if not he'll slip and slide all over the tub.
So I basically wash one and then the other. The baby can now sort of play with toys while I focus on his brother. Then I take the baby out first while the water drains. I tell big brother I'll be right back and go leave the baby in the bedroom. Then I rush to get big brother and dry, lotion, clothe, etc both of them.

I was going to say, skip bathing both of them, but it sounds like that isn't an option... We have a seat kind of like that and I don't like it, babies just slide down on it when they aren't really holding themselves up yet.

@Mamasig: do you find the seat stays in place on the bottom of the tub with the water in there, or does it slide around? I haven't seen one in person yet!

@sorrycharlie: It stays in place, no sliding. DS2 is now big enough that he can actually sit in it, not just lay back in it. Of course, I have to keep an eye on him because if he reaches too far for a toy, he may tip over. I think I got it at Target or Walmart, maybe? Bathing two when the baby is still unsteady is hard, but this helps me.

We used one similiar to that for the first 3 months. Then went to a hard plastic tub that we could sit inside the bathtub

We have one and love it! When LO was really little she was a little slippy on it but even at 18 mo the i usually have her lay back on it when we wash her hair! LO2 will totally use it too. I like it a lot.

We use one so I can bathe both kids together (27 months and 7 months) and it works well! Doesn't slide around at all. And it keeps big sis entertained so she can help wash little bro.
