@PrincessBaby's thread on makeup and @Zippylef's (awesome!) tutorial has encouraged me to google around a bit . . . what I ended up finding what the BeautyBlender sponge, which many claim is better than any other makeup brush or sponge they have ever tried. Has anyone used one? Does it live up the hype?

I WANT ONE SO BAD! The YouTube guru who I learned my foundation routine from uses one sometimes and I really want to try it.
I'm having trouble spending $20 on a sponge though. XD

@zippylef: who on youtube? I am leaning towards trying one because I like sponges, but I vacillate between using a brush and using a sponge. *augh*

I want one too but I'm hesitant to spend $20 on a freakin sponge! Maybe for my birthday? Let us know how it works for you if you end up getting it

I use this sponge every day! I love it. It does break down but not as fast as a regular make up sponge. Make sure to buy the cleaner, it helps keep it lasting a long time!
Also, make sure to use it damp. When I use it dry, it's not as blend-y

Also, as a note- I use this for my liquid foundation as well as my BB cream. I don't use it for tinted moisturizers.

I didn't think it lived up to the hype but I am definitely no make up artist!! I use the "Perfect Foundation Brush" by shiseido and like it a lot...

@MsLipGloss: i have two, and i've had them for YEARS - they are so worth it! it makes makeup application quick and flawless.

I LOVE IT! I'm not a make up person but I feel I get better coverage and less breakouts (because I'm constantly washing it)
just in case you need to wet it. My friend didnt know that when she purchased hers.
