Thought I would share with the bees!!
I had my citizenship ceremony today. I am officially a US citizen.
My family lives far away, so I went to the ceremony myself.
Since we've taken so much time off for the pregnancy, SO had to work.
I got to the ceremony facility over an hour away, and when I got there I saw SO standing outside waiting for me. He was there to surprise me.
Preggo hormones kicked in and I started crying. He's never surprised me with anything before. It was a really nice day.

@JessiBee: I registered to vote onsite. Too late for this election though - the deadline in FL is 10/09 and I became a citizen/registered 10/10.

it is interesing though that in engand you dont have to be a citizen to vote. Because I have voted there once.
